Call For Artists: Cocoa Bar

CALL FOR ENTRIES Cocoa Bar
to NYC Citywide Open Studios registered (with registration fee paid) artists!
I have been working hard in the background to create a series of year-round exhibition opportunities which will be offered exclusively to NYC Citywide Open Studios participating artists. All participating artists who have paid their registration fee are eligible for these exhibitions. The goal is to create as many additional benefits for participating artists as possible. The following information explains how to apply for the first of these exhibitions to be announced:

Submit work to be considered for an exhibition at Cocoa Bar (www.cocoabarnyc.com). Cocoa Bar will be hosting monthly exhibitions and many of their upcoming shows will be curated exclusively from NYC Citywide Open Studios artists. The October show is open to Brooklyn artists registered to participate in NYC Citywide Open Studios; exhibitions from November onward are open to participating artists from all 5 boroughs. To be considered send an email to info@cocoabarnyc.com which includes the following:

Remember, you must have already paid your NYC Citywide Open Studios registration fee before submitting your work:

1) link to your website, OR up to 4 JPEGS of your work
2) your name, address, and phone #;
3) If applying for the October exhibition, open to Brooklyn participating artists, make the subject of your email:
“Brooklyn artist applying for October exhibition”
4) If applying for subsequent exhibitions, open to participating artists in all 5 boroughs, make the subject of your email:
“NYC Citywide Open studios artist applying for future exhibitions”.

Alternately, you may drop off color photocopies or prints
at the bar with all the above listed information (228 Seventh Ave., between 3rd & 4th streets, Park Slope, Brooklyn.)

Come to the EAI Benefit at Cocoa Bar on September 8th from 8 - 10pm to see the space and meet other artists participating in NYC Citywide Open Studios.
